SUOZZI HITS HOLE-IN-ONE AT ANNUAL GOLF FUNDRAISER
DONATING FRUIT & VEGETABLE CENTERPIECES TO THE INN

Hempstead, NY (July 17 2008) – Nassau County Executive Thomas Suozzi held his 14th Annual Golf Classic and Dinner at the Nassau Country Club, donating the fresh fruit and vegetable centerpieces to The INN (Interfaith Nutrition Network) soup kitchens.

Suozzi’s annual event took place on July 7, 2008 and not only raised pledges of more than $1 million dollars for future political endeavors, but touched the hearts of thousands of guests who eat at one of The INN’s 19 soup kitchens across Long Island

“We are extremely grateful to Tom Souzzi who has consistently remained at the forefront of our mission to help our neighbors in need,” said Jean Kelly, executive director of The INN.  “His creation and execution of these fresh fruit and vegetable centerpieces is just another example of his greatly appreciated generosity and thoughtfulness.”
