Students are an integral part of The INN’s mission to promote awareness and meet the needs of hungry and homeless Long Islanders. Here are some ways students make a difference in the lives of so many.
YOUTH ADVISORY BOARD
The INN’s Youth Advisory Board is made up of High School student volunteer representatives (grades 9-12) from various schools.
Our goal is to help find ways to educate and engage youth about hunger and homelessness on Long Island, while offering hands on volunteer opportunities to help make a difference.

We are always looking for students to come and volunteer at one of our Soup Kitchen locations. In order to volunteer during the hours meals are served, students must be 16 years of age or older.
To join, or for more information contact Emily Wilensky at (516) 486-8506 ext. 138 or email@example.com.
Students who are younger than 16 years old are welcome to come in, with supervision, to volunteer at the Mary Brennan INN soup kitchen, located in Hempstead, after 2:30 pm. During this time students will help sort food and clothing, prepare shower bags, fill the library with books, and help prepare the facility for the next day.
For student volunteer opportunities please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
