SOUP KITCHEN COORDINATOR

We are seeking a highly skilled, fast pace, energetic individual with excellent communication, management and organizational skills, in the human services field, to assist in overseeing multiple Soup Kitchens on Long Island.
Successful candidate will have excellent management skills, strong administrative abilities, love people, and have experience working with soup kitchens and volunteers, with knowledge in basic volunteering/soup kitchen principles, methods and techniques, and can work with a team to provide strong oversight to a very special group of volunteers and soup kitchen programs.
Bachelor's degree in sociology, human services, communication, or a master's degree in related field a plus. A min 3 yrs. experience working with volunteers. We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual LMSW: Fluent in Spanish. Soup Kitchen Social Worker with excellent communication and organizational skills to provide guest-focused resources to those in need at our soup kitchens in Suffolk County on Long Island. Successful candidate must have a strong management experience in creating/implementing programs that focus on employment readiness and housing.
Must have (LMSW) Licensed Master's degree in Social Work. Fluent in Spanish a plus; proficient in computers. A minimum of 2 years in field with management experience and can travel to multiple soup kitchen locations on Long Island.
